On the modern side of the industry is digital printing. At Cotswold we have multiple formats available and we have recently invested in our future with the purchase of two new state of the art Roland Digital printers to add to our existing machinery.
This enables to use the cutting edge Versaworks7 software to its fullest ability, and we have added the LEC300 roll feed printer that uses 6 ink colours rather than the usual 4, this adds a multitude of alternative colours and effects to its printing capabilities. Then we have our new to the market, VERSA-OBJECT mo-240 the possibilities this machine offers are seemingly endless, variable sizes, shapes and materials are able to be printed on this flatbed printer that has a larger print bed than most of its rivals, it is also able to add a varnish/lacquer layer over the print for greater impact. The great advantage of the digital format, is it allows you to attain unlimited creativity in colour, effect, texture and finish.
Digital printing also offers a more economic option on smaller print runs. The adaptability of digital printing means that virtually any image, colour, or texture including colour to colour fading or merging can be achieved which make it a useful tool for many industry sectors including:
Our Roll / sheet fed appliance is capable of large format photographic quality works through to tiny complex labelling jobs, our roll fed printer is also able to “kiss” cut adhesive vinyl material to give a complete stick-on label option.
It is able to print on almost any shaped media or object. We are also able to create expert jigging to facilitate this.
