Producing high specification printed panels for the music, medical and manufacturing industries is at the core of who Cotswold Screen Printers are. Working with such key industries as:
We can work with all metal types, anodised, powder coated, electro-platted; printing onto flat panels, cylindrical units, housings chassis, and large doors / complex shapes.
Either printing directly on to the metal panel or printing, cutting and assembling graphic overlays and applying to your metalwork, we have built an enviable reputation for the highest quality product and finish, from conception to finished product.
Although in the majority of cases we print direrctly onto free issue customer parts, we work in partnership with several specialised and trusted metal working engineers and finishers, therefore if you require us to source metal work for you, we will ensure the product you request and receive is of the highest standard.
The preferred way to print direct onto metal in a production setting is via screen printing, also known as silkscreen printing, serigraphy, or serigraph printing which presses ink through porous stencils directly onto the product. The screen-printing process involves several steps as each layer or colour is put on separately.
At Cotswold Screen Printers we embrace both the traditional method of hand squeegeeing and automated screen printing, alongside digital printing for smaller runs and ( CMYK) /shaded colours. We also offer rotary screen printing for bottles and cylindrical objects. The main advantage of screen printing are its high definition and extreme durability, whether being used inside or outside making it suitable for any situation that demands a high quality, highly durable finish.
Another advantage is the capability to print onto a wide variation of sizes ; we are able to print on items such as tiny buttons and switches through to large cabinet doors and housings, and all sizes in between.
We print using colour matched traditional stove able inks (heat cured) or UV inks, and over years we have built an unparalleled reputation in this sector.
For more complex shaped products, uneven surfaces, concave or convex surfaces we also have a dedicated Pad and Rotary print department.
